Skillhub reviews: The Good & the Bad
SkillHub is an online freelance writing website that provides several services, including resume writing, resume editing, cover letter writing, LinkedIn profile writing, CV assistance and other content writing. SkillHub operates like a resume writing marketplace, offering clients ability to select writers, interact with the writers on the platform, ask for changes, and pay upon completion. But is SkillHub the right place to get your resume written or can job seekers get stronger quality control, clearer trust signals, ATS-friendly writing, LinkedIn optimization, and job application help from Boxresume?
Our Rating
To determine the best resume help website, our certified resume writers assessed SkillHub in four categories: customer reviews, cost-to-value ratio, sample quality and writer credentials.
SkillHub offers affordable pricing, pay after review, ATS friendly services, and multiple freelance writers. But there were a number of concerns that SkillHub also identified during this Skillhub reviews. It has mixed reviews in the public eye, the quality of writing is not consistent, and the freelance marketplace might not be as consistent as a dedicated resume writing service.

What is SkillHub ?
SkillHub is a freelance website where customers will hire writers to create their resumes, edit their resumes, write their LinkedIn profile, create cover letters, and so on. SkillHub’s Trustpilot company profile is not about a resume-only company, but, rather, a freelance platform where clients can find content writing services.
The company’s website features resume writing, resume editing, LinkedIn resume help and cover letter services among other article categories like article writing, blog writing, website content, product descriptions, social media content and SEO writing.
SkillHub is located at SKILLHUB FZCO, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, as it is stated in the bottom of its website. This is good transparency but it is important to note that U.S. job seekers should not expect SkillHub to be a traditional resume writing company based in the U.S.
The largest draw of SkillHub is adaptability. You can select writers, interact through the site, view work, ask for revisions and approve the work after you are happy with it, after which you can pay. It is a marketplace model, however, so it will be very dependent on the writer you select for the final quality.

- LinkedIn Profile Writing – SkillHub provides LinkedIn profile writing, where the user completes the profile requirements, selects a writer among the bids, receives the profile and asks for changes before depositing the money.LinkedIn optimization may be helpful for some recruiter search, particularly when the profile has a sturdy headline, a summary stuffed with keywords, a transparent experience section, and the targeted abilities.
- IT Resume Writing – SkillHub has an IT resumes page, which features a section on ATS-friendly IT resumes. According to the company, the cost of an IT resume is around $89 – $179, and one resume display service begins at $123.It could be a good option for individuals who are looking for a low-cost resume creation service, but job-seekers must be mindful of the experiences of the resumes they are considering working with before hiring a freelancer.
- Unlimited Revisions – According to SkillHub’s resume editing page, up to three revisions of their resume are free for users within a 4-week period. In its cover letter page, it also mentions a four week editing period and a money back guarantee of 60 days. This may sound like a good offer, but job seekers should make sure that they understand the exact revision and refund terms before ordering.
How Much Does SkillHub Cost?
SkillHub Reviews notes that SkillHub’s pricing differs from that of resume package companies because it operates on a marketplace model and can be customized to budget, needs, and experience level.
One of SkillHub’s greatest assets is its affordability. It is a bit like a writer marketplace; however, job seekers have to confirm the final quote, writer experience, last date, revision terms, and exact deliverables before paying.

What Customers Are Saying
The Skillhub reviews are split .
There are some review sites with positive customer reviews and others with less positive ratings and complaints. When purchasing a product, it’s crucial to check out a couple of sources first.
| Platform | Rating / Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Mixed | Some posts praise affordability, while others criticize quality and say results felt unusable. | |
| Reviews.io | 4.7 / 5 | 70 reviews, with 99% of reviewers recommending SkillHub. |
| Trustpilot | 2.4 / 5 | 34 reviews, labeled “Poor.” |
| SkillHub Website | Mixed internal-style ratings | Resume writing page displays ratings such as 4.40/5 from 59 reviews, 4.77/5 from 128 reviews, and 4.82/5 from 62 reviews. |
Reviews.io currently shows 4.7/5 from 70 reviews, with 99% of reviewers recommending SkillHub. However, Trustpilot currently shows 2.4/5 from 34 reviews, with visible complaints about delayed delivery, poor communication, low-quality resume work, and billing concerns.
SkillHub’s own resume writing page also displays several ratings, including 4.40/5 based on 59 reviews, 4.77/5 based on 128 reviews, and 4.82/5 based on 62 reviews, though buyers should treat company-displayed ratings differently from independent review platforms.
The Good
This Skillhub reviews, identifies the positives of Skill Hub on its various services .
Firstly, the cost can be cost-effective. The IT resume page contains IT resume writing that costs $89-$179 and a resume option that costs $123 – which is affordable when compared with many premium IT resume writers.
Second, SkillHub is a flexible writer marketplace. Users are able to select the writers, to view the work, to interact with the expert assigned to them and to release payment once they are satisfied. This sounds less risky than an up-front payment without any idea of what goes on in the background.
Third, SkillHub promotes ATS-friendly resumes. It is even explicit about keyword optimization and ATS resume writing on its resume page and “passing ATS” on its resume editing page.
Fourth, SkillHub provides resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile assistance. This means that job seekers will receive a more comprehensive package of documents than those who stick to resumes.
Fifthly, the revision policy is appealing. According to SkillHub, they will allow their users to ask for as many revisions as they need, with the promise of them being done within 4 weeks, and some of the service pages have money back guarantee text.
SkillHub could be a good marketplace solution to consider if you are a job seeker looking for a low cost, flexible marketplace like a skill hub.
The Bad
The main disadvantage identified on this Skillhub reviews is that customer feedback is not as consistent as it could be.
Reviews.io is looking good and Trustpilot is looking bad. If a high rating on one platform and a poor rating on another, buyers are unsure. Not all SkillHub orders are bad, but it may imply that quality and customer experience can differ.
There is also a consistency with the author. SkillHub is much like a freelance marketplace, so the outcome could strongly depend on the writer you select, the clarity of your goals, and the understanding of your industry. This can lead to more diversity than a particular resume service with more stringent quality control.
Credentials of writers are also not fully transparent. In the name of the writers and professional descriptions, SkillHub shows some names and its homepage states that the writers are checked. However, the visibility of verified resume-writing certification as found in some high-priced resume companies may not be available to job seekers.
SkillHub offers not only resume writing services, but also provides a wide range of content writing services. While that may be convenient, it also means that the brand seems less focused than a resume-only company that specializes in job-search documents only.
Last but not least, skillhub doesn’t seem like a done-for-you job application service such as Boxresume. It can aid resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles but not clearly offer a service where specific job applications are done on clients’ behalf.
Is it Worth it?
If you prefer a marketplace-like approach and can select your own resume writer, and you don’t mind paying for a resume service that isn’t so expensive, then SkillHub might be an option for you.
If you also require assistance for resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profiles at a reduced expense as compared to many resume services, it may also be advantageous.
If you are looking for consistent quality control, a higher level of trust in independent reviews, verified resume-writer credentials or comprehensive job application support, however, SkillHub may not be the right solution.
On a mixed level, there are some questions to ask before ordering: What’s the writer’s approach to the assignment? How do they handle the order? How do they handle deliverables?
If you are looking for a provider that can offer ATS-friendly resume, LinkedIn optimization, cover letter and job application assistance, then Boxresume is the better value.
